The name of Etosha means ‘the big white spot’, and is one of the most beautiful and most important reserves in southern Africa. The main attraction of the area is ‘Etosha Pan’, a formation with the appearance of a pan, resulted from the water evaporation from of the lake once fueled by Kunene River. Here is a large variety of creatures, such as birds, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, and surprisingly only one species of fish.
