Sun-blackened wooden houses embellished with plenty of red geraniums, exquisite chalet hotels and ancient grain stores lined up on the narrow and cobbled streets of Grimentz, are the main attraction of this ravishing Swiss city.

At an altitude of 1,564m Grimentz is part of the municipality of Anniviers, a scenic valley with over 100 km of biking routes and hiking trails, which allows nature lovers and hikers to catch up sensational panoramas during the summer. A walk at the Moiry Reservoir and Moiry Glacier tongue it is so thrilling.

Nevertheless, Grimentz does not disappoint even in winter, with a ski area at an altitude of 3000 meters. Not to mention how charming the old town of Grimentz looks like during the December holiday season.
