Thailand is a paradise of dreamy landscapes, a plenty of mountains with abundant marvelous flora and fauna that make a great view through the eyes of every traveler who comes here. People are extremely hospitable, smiling all the time and they give you the impression they would do anything so you fell entirely happy on this island. Thailand is you number one choice, especially spending some relaxing days enjoying the beaches and the warmth sun of Phuket, and all its water sports. All the tranquility that flows during the day, suddenly change is and the Patong area seems like Ibiza, where are hectic and active nights. Music, parties, bars, a lot of flashing lights, enjoys tourists. You can make a trip in Phuket Town especially for local restaurants but also for body massage, the best in the whole island. The most popular area beaches are Patong, Karon and Kata. Phuket Old Town is a base from which you can start to explore the rain forests and rubber plantations, cocoa, pineapple and coconut.

Phuket Old Town is the home to quaint cafes and coffee shops, clothes boutiques and some adorable restaurants, guesthouses and local bars. You will discover the fascination of the Sino-Portuguese architecture and Chinese shop houses, which are still to this day operating as traditional textiles, gold and printing businesses.

West coast of the island along the beaches of Patong, Karon and Kamm has hotels of all categories of tourists, from luxurious 5-star hotel complexes to simply motels. You can laze in the sun while you moisturize with coconut juice, you can take kayak rides through the caves at the base of Limestone Mountains and you can go diving with turtles and the multi colorful fishes.

Phuket offers a wide range of activities, and the best option is traveling with your own guided tour. You can go to see three lovely waterfalls on the island. They are in different locations in the district Kathu Kathu, here is the waterfall and if you are coming from Patong beach, you will find skiing and go-kart track.

The natural beauty of the island is due to the picturesque villages, coconut plantations and rubber trees and for its variety of wildflowers that grow along the forested mountains. Near the island's coral reefs are full of life. East Coast is made up mostly of rocks and mangrove wetlands. The link between the island and the land is via a bridge and island culture is slightly different, a fusion of Chinese and Portuguese influences, combined with traditions.

In the island of Phuket are only two seasons: the rainy (May to October) and the hot (November to April). The best time to visit is from November to February, when you can enjoy the blue sky, fresh sea breezes and crystal clear water and the temperatures ranges between 23 ° C and 33 ° C.

On Phuket you could see the Butterfly Farm, which is a butterfly farm; the place is open-air but covered with nets, such as multicolored butterflies of all sizes and can fly freely, without being able to get through those nets. The show is incredible beautifully. The Elephant Trekking and tours with the elephants are a great challenge, so the elephants get you on the jungle. You can opt for boat tours, there are many companies organizing and also there are many shows with snakes and more. You may opt also for Jungle Safari, World Class Golf Courses, cooking classes, traditional Thai massage, cabaret shows, go-karting, go at water parks and a lot more. You should make a vist to the Phang Nga Bay, which is called ‘’James Bond Island’’ because here they filmed The Man with the Golden Gun. The scenery is incredible beautiful.

You will see also the Big Buddha, sat on his which it is huge and can be spotted from most places in the south of the island. The Wat Chalong is the largest temple in Phuket and is fully decorated with beautiful colors and countless images of Buddha and icons from Thai and Buddhist mythology.

In Phuket there is also a mall, in Patong resort and has several restaurants, including well-known brands of fast food, sushi bars, Japanese restaurants, wine bars and so on. The selection of clothes, as you imagine is pure, but you definitely don’t come the entire road here for shopping.

Linked to their traditional foods, are tasty dishes as: lime and ginger soup with seafood, grilled fish stuffed with herbs, served with lime and chili sauce and a variety of clams steamed in white wine sour. If you want to buy fresh food, fruits, vegetables, spices, try to Naka Weekend Market on the outskirts of Phuket Town, has lower prices than Patong. The Gallery by Pinky is a pretty nice restaurant, with good prices and here your breakfast could be very delicious.

The best airline with which you can get here, I mean quality-price – is Air Asia, which offer regular direct flights to Phuket from Australia, NZ, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Japan and India. My advice is to book your tickets early, even six months ahead, so prices will be a little friendlier, must be honest, the differences are not significant, but there are.

Be aware that in Phuket prices are high, for example much higher than in Bangkok or another part of Thailand.

When you accommodate, proceed in the same way: book the hotel in advance, look on many websites such as booking, hotel.com and so on, read travelers' reviews, so that you have the desired hotel. Watch the Wi-Fi, because the majority says that they have, but you wake up and it is not included in the room’s price!

In Thailand you will not have Internet issues or problems with Wi-Fi. Almost all hotels have included Wi-Fi in the room price and if is not so, you pay a tax to have it, also there is free Wi-Fi in the most cafes / bars / restaurants.

When you come here, would be appropriate to keep in mind certain rules. For example, when you enter in a temple, you have to take off your shoes and should not be more naked than dressed. Must be a decent outfit without being revealed too much your skin and keep in mind that it's not good to show leg or finger to someone, when you want to show something and is not ok to touch someone's head or scream, shout at someone on the street, beach, shops, temples, etc.

If you take the time to look around you can find some incredible deals and fantastic adventures or relaxing getaways meant to be on your preferences. If you organize your trip in advance, for sure your visit to Phuket will definitely be fantastic!

Public transport is very limited and taxis and tuk-tuks are the best option.

Most operate from the local market at Ranong Road (Talad Sod or Ban San).
