Related to accommodation, we chose Winters Hotel Berlin Mitte Am Checkpoint Charlie, a 4 stars hotel - located at 100 meters from the Friedrichstraße shopping street and 600 meters from Checkpoint Charlie Museum and Metro Kochstraße station is about 7/10 minute walk from Winters Hotel am Checkpoint Charlie, being close to Checkpoint Charlie.
It is a hotel with prices around 75 Euros/night, a hotel that gave us the impression that it is a business hotel, large, organized, with quality service, friendly stuff, willing to help. The rooms are tiny but equipped with everything is necessary. The reason we chose this hotel was its positioning, close to public transport. In front of him is the Trabi Museum, a museum dedicated to Trabi cars.
Breakfast in Berlin is essential. They have English breakfast with eggs, sausage and bacon, French breakfast with croissant, butter and jam, Italian breakfast with prosciutto, tomato and mozzarella or the specifically Hamburg breakfast, consisting of salmon, herring and shrimp salad…so tasteful…everything here is associated with a wide variety of breads, jams and fruits, so try not to skip the delicious breakfast! On the streets of Berlin you will see the famous bratwurst, a kind of grilled sausage or currywurst, a specialty sausage in Berlin, very appreciated with a lot of curry and ketchup. Go and take a beer too…you must try the well known Berliner Weisse (Berlin White) or Leipziger Gose, who was discovered after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
