Arches National Park is one of the most amazing places to visit in the United States. The entrance to the park is located in the little town of Moab.
My favorite section of the park is known as the 'Windows Section'. It contains a few of the largest and most impressive arches, the North and South Windows and the Turret Arch.
Arches NP is incredible, especially in spring. Early May is the best time to see all the desert blossoms!
Try to see Park Ave- probably the most magnificent views of tablet like formations very Biblical!
The rock formations here are just incredible. The park is pretty spread out, so you will drive from location to location.
Loved being up there, the view was incredible! Spent about an hour by the arch, where people took turns taking their pictures under that giant beast of a rock.
It's a beautiful place. Of the Utah parks, this one is the best I think. All arches require a walk, some more than others. Take water, sun glasses, UV lotion, food and comfortable shoes!
The scenery, in general, is varied and spectacular...Arches National Park is a "must see" destination. Simply beautiful and photogenic...so if you're anywhere near Moab, UT and have a chance to see Arches, go for it!
